Yes it's hard to know, many years i've thought mirror and fuel cap are metal.
And now:
I've seen a unrestored 176 GTI in full original condition, really it's true! And there where no metal mirrors and fuel cap...only door-handle metal.

Hello at all, does anybody knows, that the first GTI had a different exhaust silencer? The front exhaust silencer isn't available at VW or CP. So i've searched for a new one...and found it some weeks before. I will pick it up later...it's long distance...
