WOB Meeting - Golf 1 Original IG

Hello,

i'd like to ask if someone of you is planing to visit the WOB meeting 15.-17.07.2016 - organized by Original Golf 1 IG?

Some years ago many members of your club has visited that meeting - many people from France and Germany stay in contact since this time.
It was fantastic meet - maybe we can do this again?

We have our General Meeting on February 13th in Bruxelles. Our program 2016 will be discussed there.

As we already discussed together why not ... if someone is ok to drive with me as I still don't have any usable Golf 1..
Nevertheless thanks for this kind invitation!!

Have you planned any special event for the GTI 40th years birthday?
Is VW classic parts preparing another car for some events or will it still be the white 78' shown since 10years?

Maybe you can make a suggestion at your general-meeting in Bruxelles (for visiting the WOB meeting)?
2009 is long time ago....time for continuation, isn't it?
If there would be a positiv result - i can establish contact to the 1st chairman of Golf 1 IG - if some help is needed.

Some days before i've spoken with the 1st chairman of Golf 1 IG. He told me, that Volkswagen Classic Parts and Werk34 are asked for comming.
Also i know from some private people who wants to sell some used and renewed parts (yellow zink, black powder ...).
Every year we have a threat some days before start the meeting, where we ask if someone needs something, which we can bring to WOB with us.
Volkswagen Museum will be opened for all visitors from meeting (maybe without costs).
If there are some special car's from VW i don't know...but VW only have the 78 GTI...no older GTI available at VW.
I know one owner of a early 77 GTI who wants to come with this car and his second Golf - model GTD, too. Diesel is 40years, too
I for myself will come with my 83 GTI.

Always wanted to do the meeting in wolfsburg but never had the chance.
I hope this year, with 40 years of gti, i can go. Would be nice

No, Sorry. This year the club did not plan this meeting in its program.

We have this year a big meeting in France in May.

Next year we will programm a big meeting in Scotland.

And it is very much probable that in 2018 an exit will again be programmed in Wolfsburg.

At Volkswagen Museum you can see a rebuilt GTI-Prototyp (owned by a private person)
