Sorry first of all, because I can't write in french ( for the moment ). My name is Joan and I'm from south Catalonia. I'm 35 years old.
I bought a GOLF GTI 1987 a few weeks ago now I'm working to fix some minor things, he has only 130.000km, here a pic.

I hope to be accepted even if for the moment I'm writing in english. Congratulations for the high level of this forum.

Your Golf to 87 have big windows?

Ca doit être la catalogne en Espagne,côté méditerrannée,en dessous de Barcelone???

De janvier à juillet 87,ce sont des petits carreaux, après juillet,des grands !

Et oui !!!! C'était encore l'époque des "années "modèles" !

Voilà certainement pourquoi elle a de grands carreaux !

Now I've changed the front suspension silentblocks, then later I want to change the detonation sensor, it seems not work correctly. For the rest all right.

Here is very easy to buy used parts for Golf 2, the Seat Toledo 1 and Seat Cordoba 1 use the same basis as the Golf 2. For example the hidraulic steering sistem of Toledo 1 (2.0 i), It's the same as the original Golf 2, also about brakes, gearboxes etc etc...
