GTI 1987 and me, from Catalonia

Sorry first of all, because I can't write in french ( for the moment ). My name is Joan and I'm from south Catalonia. I'm 35 years old.
I bought a GOLF GTI 1987 a few weeks ago now I'm working to fix some minor things, he has only 130.000km, here a pic.

I hope to be accepted even if for the moment I'm writing in english. Congratulations for the high level of this forum.

Thank you all for the welcome, I will try to upload more pictures after next weekend.

Now I've changed the front suspension silentblocks, then later I want to change the detonation sensor, it seems not work correctly. For the rest all right.

Catalonia is a nation that is in Spain on the north east coast ( borders with Andorra and France ), its capital is Barcelona wich is where the SEAT ( VW Group ) factories. Here is very easy to buy used parts for Golf 2, the Seat Toledo 1 and Seat Cordoba 1 use the same basis as the Golf 2. For example the hidraulic steering sistem of Toledo 1 (2.0 i), It's the same as the original Golf 2, also about brakes, gearboxes etc etc...
